Description:
This contract was for the complete window replacement of a large mansion block on the busy Marylebone Rd in NW1. That in itself produced a few problems as the footpath would always be busy and the shops did not want their trade hindered. To counter this problem Admiral erected a gantry through which the public could pass and completely shielded the scaffold in flame retardant plastic sheeting as a protection to anything that may have inadvertently fallen off of the scaffold. The obstruction to the shop fronts was kept to a minimum by the use of a series of beamed structures. The other abiding problem of the contract was the very tight contract period afforded by the Client. By close monitoring of the programme Admiral were able to satisfy this requirement.
