“Safety first production second!” That is The Admiral Group Ltd’s mantra. That does not mean that the Group do not wish to make a profit but that they want to make it in the safest possible environment for a potentially highly dangerous trade.

To help achieve this the Group employs the services of the Flood Partnership, a highly respectable safety specialist, who monitor and advise the Group on all aspects of safety within the working environment; including training courses for the Group’s Managers and Supervisors.

The Group is very proud, although not in a complacent way, of its very good Accident Statistics for the past 5 years. These reflect the seriousness with which the Group treats safety and makes them one of the safest in the industry.

Apart from the influence of the expertise of Flood Partnership, the group also employs its own third party site safety assessor. Their role is to attend sites on an ad hoc basis and do a safety inspection of the scaffold. This report is then forwarded to both the Group Contract Manager and the Client (at no cost to the client). Whilst attending sites it is also the responsibility of the independent inspectors to perform Tool Box Talks as they sees fit from the Construction Skills GT700 set. These comprise 71 different talks all of which are applicable to various sectors of our business. On a monthly basis the inspector reports to the Group.
