Mission Statement
It is the policy of Admiral Scaffolding Group to become the preferred supplier of scaffold and access to the general and specialised construction industry by: Erecting and maintaining a safe working environment for our clients and all other users of our product during its' operational life. Ensuring the general public is protected from our operations on and offsite and minimising any possible inconvenience caused by our plant and equipment whether it is in use or idle.
Transport
The heart of The Admiral Scaffolding Group Ltd beats regularly everyday in the form of the pistons of their fleet of vehicles. Without tender loving care it is easy for a scaffold vehicle to be brutally treated with the resultant shorter than envisages life expectancy. This in turn causes delays to contracts, costs in repair bills and general unreliability. Not a triumvirate that the Group wishes to experience. To ensure that the vehicles get all the treatment they require the Group has invested in its own engineers. These are supplemented by a third party auditor who visits on a three monthly basis to randomly inspect the vehicles and confirm that the correct inspection paperwork and driver’s records.
Health & Safety
“Safety first production second!” That is The Admiral Group Ltd’s mantra. That does not mean that the Group do not wish to make a profit but that they want to make it in the safest possible environment for a potentially highly dangerous trade. To help achieve this the Group employs the services of the Flood Partnership, a highly respectable safety specialist, who monitor and advise the Group on all aspects of safety within the working environment; including training courses for the Group’s Managers and Supervisors.
Depot
The engine room of the Admiral Scaffolding Group Ltd’s operations! Without a trained and dedicated depot staff the whole operation would collapse around the Group’s ears. It is imperative therefore that the whole procedure from ordering materials from site to loading them and transporting them is carried out in the most professional of manners. The whole depot is overseen by the Group’s Depot Manager. He and his staff will ensure that all vehicles are correctly and safely loaded and are hitched to their trailers before the depot opens at 6.45am.
Training
Training is of paramount importance to The Admiral Scaffolding Group Ltd. As every new employee joins the company in whatever capacity they are assessed on their past qualifications and where necessary placed in the correct training programme. The Admiral Scaffolding Group prides itself on its excellent attendance and pass rate at CITB training courses and all scaffold operatives will be placed on an enhancement training programme until they are fully qualified and possess the Advanced Scaffolding (NVQ3). This can be achieved in one of two ways, dependant upon the age of the operative when he joins the Group. If the operative is over 25 years of age or is already part way through his CITB training then we will help to guide and support them until qualification is achieved. During this process the Group is very proactive in arranging the courses and aiding the operative in the completion of his portfolio. Indeed the Group have been greatly praised for the standard of the portfolios that we very proudly help to produce.
